The unique Salamander Designs OTT/JS/CHLS Leather and Microsuede Ottoman with Jumpseat - Chocolate unfolds to reveal a hide-away theater seat that can be used as a secondary or extra seat for watching movies or playing video games. The Jumpseat also serves as a traditional ottoman, a cushioned surface ready to convert a comfortable seat into a luxurious feeling chaise lounge. The Jumpseat features a sturdy, patented mechanism that helps the top smoothly rise into a vertical position, revealing a padded seat and backrest. A cup holder and a small compartment for remote controls or game controllers rest along the seat's right-hand side. The Salamander Jumpseat Ottoman is even better than I expected! It functions exactly as described, a combo ottoman and gamer chair. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see how soft and expensive feeling the leather was. The suede inner chair had good support with a fair cushion and the hinge mechanism seems really solid and that's great considering how often it will be open and closed. Finally, you can't beat the fact that it was on sale for less than HALF its original price! Overall, 5 stars out of 5.
